The Speaker’s Comedy Adventure is two and a half days of humor, craft and adventure in Chicago, the live comedy hub of America.

We’ll cap our experiences together by seeing the lessons in action, with a show at one of the greatest comedy institutions in the world. A place that has produced more famous faces than you could imagine.

All while guided by a well established comedian and speaker in his own right, Pat Dwyer.

  • Cost: $3000
    Which includes: 2 full day sessions, lunches on those days, your ticket to Second City (or equivalent), and personalized 1:1 consulting time.

    *Please know: Payment will be required to hold your spot within the cohort.

  • Get right in there and learn the craft of comedy.

    During this day, participants will dive into:

    • Story Structure 

    • Joke Structure 

    • Understanding the importance of show/presentation structure

    • The skills behind a wildly effective on stage Presence

    • What it takes to interact with your audience in real time, more effectively

    • Finding your voice and capitalizing on it.

    • The creation a unique experience for your audience

    • The craft of the strategic use of humor

  • Bring your work to the table and make it better, in real time.

    During this day, participants will: 

    • Each participant has an opportunity to bring a portion of their keynote to the table for live coaching, expert critique and notes with Pat Dwyer. Captured digitally for your records and review.

    • Dedicated time to craft unique bits for your existing keynote(s).

    • A review of Day 1 Discussions and learning, making sure to answer any lingering questions.

  • We will end Day 2 as group, attending a show at one of Chicago’s sketch and/or improv comedy mainstays such as the Second City, iO Theater or ComedySportz - depending availability.

    *Ticket price is included in your cohort fees.

  • Not only will you get to partake in the great Chicago Bruch scene, but this will be an unparalleled experience granting you unprecedented access to the actors, directors and/or team that built the show you saw the night before.
